You will be based in the Asia Research Hub, responsible for creating and editing online news content, driving our presence in Thailand and regional markets. Main Responsibilities |
Responsible for the collection, writing and editing of online news, covering areas such as politics, economy, technology or society. |
Conduct online or on-site interviews, maintain good connections with sources, and ensure that the content is authentic and engaging. |
Based on online media trends (such as SEO, social media communication), produce reports (including text, pictures or short videos) suitable for online audiences. |
Work with the team to participate in digital content planning, feature reporting or breaking news push. |
Ensure that all content complies with Thai laws and regulations and online news ethics standards. |

Qualifications |
Nationality requirements: Thai (in compliance with Thai labor laws). |
Education: University degree (or equivalent experience) in journalism, communications, mass media, or a related field. |
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in news media related work, those with experience in online media are preferred. |

Languages: |
Proficient in Thai (written and spoken). |
Applicants with Chinese or English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading and writing) will be given priority. |
|
Skill: |
Familiarity with digital media tools (e.g. WordPress CMS, Google Analytics). |
Have basic image or video editing skills (such as Canva, Adobe Premiere). |
Knowledge of SEO and social media content strategy is a plus. |
Other requirements: Be sensitive to online current events, be able to respond quickly to news events, and have a good team spirit. |

Salary and Benefits |
Salary: Negotiable based on experience (starting from 30,000-60,000 THB per month, in line with Thailand’s minimum wage and online media industry standards). |

Complies with the provisions of the Thai Labour Protection Act (1998), including paid annual leave (at least 6 days per year), sick leave (up to 30 days per year) and statutory holidays. |

Working hours: 6 days a week, 8 hours a day (subject to the maximum 48 hours per week stipulated by Thai labor law). |
